The guest house will remain closed until further notice.  NNW swell peaked over night and made for some great short board tubes and turn today with offshore winds making things clean.

                                                up early for some fun, glassy tubes!!

                                          beautiful underwater Okinawa

                                          a look around and some long board waves

                                          and a fruitful search for these seasonal berries

                                          found a great tree next to some local farm fields...

                                        chatting with local farmers they gave me permission

                                     to harvest berries from there trees as they worked on the fields

                               we chatted about all kinds of things for an hour or so from distance

                              and they offered me home made potato chips before saying goodbye

thank you! and a lovely harvest to go in the freezer for smoothies
